Manufacturing Engineer - Automation Focus
Job Description
Location: Ogden, UT
- Lead industrial engineering activities supporting new product launches and industrialization.
- Optimize manufacturing processes to improve cost, quality, productivity, and production volume.
- Plan and evaluate manufacturing capacity to support current and future production requirements.
- Support the implementation and improvement of manufacturing automation and production technologies.
- Develop and implement production processes capable of consistently delivering defect-free products.
- Work cross-functionally to identify opportunities for process improvement and enhanced manufacturing performance.
- Support the launch and ramp-up of new products within the manufacturing environment.
- Participate in global meetings and collaborate with international teams on launch and manufacturing initiatives.
- Help establish and maintain high standards for production performance, quality, and efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
- 3+ years of experience developing and delivering production processes.
- Proven ability to support processes improving cost, quality, and production volume.
- Exposure to some combination of the following:
- High speed / High output manufacturing
- Automation line or automation cell implementations (CapEx project)
- Fanuc robots (Allen Bradley PLC) - or other brands of robot / co-bots
- Keyence vision systems - or other brands of vision systems
- Basic programming skills
- Project Engineering in automation environment
