Manufacturing Engineer-2
Job Description
- Develop and implement manufacturing process improvements focused on quality, efficiency, and cost
- Evaluate production times, staffing requirements, and manufacturing costs to support management decisions
- Develop and coordinate project plans, manage project activities, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Lead DFMEA sessions to identify and mitigate potential design risks
- Apply Lean Manufacturing principles, FMEA, and continuous improvement practices to improve manufacturing processes
- Provide technical support and training while collaborating with management, engineering, and other teams
- Identify cost-saving opportunities, improve resource utilization, and support overall business performance
- Travel up to 10% to customer and manufacturing locations as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or 3–6 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, FMEA, PFMEA, and Gemba events
- At least 6 months of experience with AutoCAD, Pro/E, or SolidWorks
- Exceptional technical, problem-solving, and reasoning skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
