Job Description

Overview:
Seeking NPI Manufacturing Engineers to support new product builds for a major client. The role includes travel to observe overseas setups and replicate line builds domestically.


  • Contract to hire (benefits offered)
  • 1st shift Monday - Friday 
  • Location: West Columbia, SC
  • Travel to Ireland for about 3 weeks (40-60 hr work weeks)

Responsibilities:

  • Support and improve manufacturing line layouts and process flows

  • Analyze and enhance existing product designs for manufacturability

  • Travel internationally to observe production setup and apply findings locally

  • Interpret and manage BOMs (lists of parts and materials needed for builds) and tooling

  • Create and refine production processes

  • Use CAD for process and layout planning

  • Collaborate with internal teams to fill technical gaps and meet tight timelines

  • Handle multiple incoming NPI projects under pressure


Qualifications:

  • 1–5 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering

  • Proficient in CAD software

  • Strong understanding of process development, tooling, and BOMs

  • Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced environments

  • Willingness to travel internationally for initial training/setup
