Job Description

Title: Manual Machinist (Bridgeport Milling) 
Hourly Pay: $25hr - $28hr 
Hours/Shift: 1st Shift - 6am or 7am start time

Location: Roselle, IL 60172
Hire Type: Hourly, full-time (40-50hrs per week)

Job Duties:
  • Operate Bridgeport milling machines and other manual machining equipment to produce high-quality parts.
  • Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to accurately machine parts within specified tolerances.
  • Set up and adjust machine parameters, including tooling and fixtures, ensuring precise operation and optimal performance.
  • Manually machine components using techniques such as milling, drilling, and reaming to meet production requirements.
  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on equipment to maintain safe and efficient operation.
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and make adjustments as necessary to maintain production flow.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve machining processes and reduce setup times.
  • Follow strict safety protocols and quality control procedures to maintain a safe work environment.

  • Experience operating Bridgeport milling machines
