Job Description

Overview:
We have an immediate opening for an experienced Manual Machinist. This job has a flexible shift schedule (get your work in and you're free to come in as a time that works for you)

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assemble gearboxes and other products
  • Perform machining tasks
  • Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, grinders, and other machine tools 
  • Perform precision measurements using various measuring instruments 
  • Calculate and set machine controls for proper feed, speed, and depth of cut 
  • Select appropriate tools, materials, and processes for each job 
  • Maintain and adjust machines to ensure optimal performance •
  • Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues as they arise 
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience as a manual machinist
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints 
  • Experience with manual lathe operation
  • CAD drawing skills (preferred)

Pay and Schedule:
  • Hourly rate: $28-31
  • Flexible start times
