Manual Machinist-2nd Shift
Job Description
- Set up and operate a variety of manual machines such as lathes and milling machines to produce precision components, including castings and pump parts (impellers, covers, diffusers).
- Assist with maintaining and repairing equipment, ensuring peak operational efficiency.
- Use precision instruments like micrometers, dial indicators, and depth gauges to ensure accuracy.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and geometric tolerances for precise execution.
- Adhere to quality standards, follow health and safety procedures, and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Plan and prioritize tasks effectively to meet production deadlines.
- Collaborate courteously with team members and supervisors to share updates and resolve issues
- 2+ years of manual machining experience in a manufacturing or repair environment.
- Proficiency with manual lathes, milling machines, and the use of precision measuring equipment.
- High school diploma or GED, with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
