Manual Mill Operator
Job Description
Location: Sidney, NE
- Operate and set up a manual mill or lathe to machine parts to precise specifications
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Utilize precision measuring tools such as micrometers, dial indicators, and ID measuring devices
- Accurately measure inside diameters (ID) using C-Mic, Stick Mic, or ID Mic
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality and dimensional requirements
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in basic machining and manual mill or lathe operation
- Proficiency in using micrometers, dial indicators, C-Mic, Stick Mic, or ID Mic
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail
- Flexibility in shift and schedule
