Job Summary:
  • Oversee the Process Control department, ensuring the selection, installation, application, and optimal utilization of process control and optimization applications within operating processes. 

Job Duties:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain target performance standards for Advanced Process Control (APC) applications. 
  • Execute plans to enhance existing applications, introduce new APCs, and establish long-term support strategies for Delta V programs and Alarm Management. 
  • Drive the development and implementation of capital and non-capital improvements, fostering initiatives that enhance earnings, reduce energy consumption, and elevate process stability. 
  • Review and support Safety Instrumented System (SIS) development, installation, and maintenance of existing systems.
  • Evaluate all engineering projects in the refinery for operability and controllability.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to engineers, technicians, operators, and supervisors across the facility.
  • Manage the department budget, emphasizing service, stewardship, and cost control in all aspects of automation.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
  • Looking for at least 3+  years of supervisory experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with effective communication abilities in refinery and Process Control domains.
  • In-depth knowledge of refining processes and refinery economics.
