Job Summary:
  • The Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery, equipment, and infrastructure to minimize downtime and ensure product quality and safety.

Job Duties:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on production machinery and equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
  • Repair or replace faulty components, parts, or systems to minimize production disruptions.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance tasks as per the maintenance schedule.
  • Collaborate with production teams to prioritize and address maintenance needs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during maintenance activities.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance work, parts used, and equipment condition.
  • Participate in training programs to stay current with technological advancements.
  • Assist in equipment installation, commissioning, and decommissioning as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the maintenance area.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification preferred.
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools for repairs and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with maintenance management software is a plus.
  • Understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
