Maintenance Technician
Job Description
- Responsible for the maintenance and repair of all plant/buildings and grounds equipment, including troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and predictive maintenance. Upload, download, configure, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs and process instruments.
- May be tasked with building and wiring control panels for machinery according to blueprints and schematics.
- Identify sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for issues, and using precision measuring and testing instruments.
- Ensure the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance on motors, pneumatic components, conveyor systems, and production machines. Follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications to troubleshoot malfunctions
- Perform daily maintenance rounds as needed, including monitoring fire systems.
Qualifications:
- Two to five years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
- SAP experience or similar system
- High school diploma or GED
- Good mechanical attitude
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatics
