Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to support our food production facility. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, experience in a manufacturing environment, and a passion for ensuring the continuous operation of our production equipment.
Job Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance and repair of production equipment, including conveyors, mixers, packaging machines, and utilities.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and make necessary repairs promptly to minimize downtime.
- Conduct preventative maintenance tasks according to schedules to ensure equipment reliability.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment history.
- Collaborate with other team members to improve maintenance processes and efficiencies.
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Technical degree or certification in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a food production setting.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, and other control systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Commitment to safety and quality.
