Maintenance Technician I 2nd Shift
Job Description
Location: Near Evanston, IL
Hire Type: Direct Hire
Salary: $30–$33/hour

- Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including press brakes, hydraulics, lathes, and mills.
- Diagnose mechanical and hydraulic issues and implement timely repairs to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
- Assist with installation, setup, and calibration of equipment.
- Perform routine inspections and safety checks.
- Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to support operational goals.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with press brakes, hydraulic systems, lathes, and mills.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work third shift and be available for overtime when required.
