Salary Range: $58,000 - $72,000 (Depending on Experience)

Join our dynamic team in Buffalo Grove, IL, as a Maintenance Technician, where your technical expertise and hands-on skills will contribute to a safe and efficient manufacturing environment. As a valued member of our organization, you'll play a key role in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement, ensuring the reliability of our equipment and processes.

Responsibilities:
Maintain a safe, clean work area and report any issues.
Read and interpret measuring devices and perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
Actively participate in teams and offer improvement suggestions.
Address machine alarms, follow 5S guidelines, and perform cGMP inspections.
Diagnose and troubleshoot pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical malfunctions.
Repair and maintain electrical controls, including PLC programming.
Upload programs to controls in case of program loss or CPU replacement.
Conduct TPM activities, input maintenance work orders into SAP.
Monitor processes, perform root cause analysis, and suggest improvements.
Fluent operation of presses, robots, and auxiliary equipment for diagnostics and repairs.
Control downtime by scheduling repairs with the Maintenance Manager.
Maintain good communication with the Maintenance Manager.
Conserve maintenance resources, ensuring technical excellence and cost-effectiveness.
Other duties as assigned.

Preferred/Required Education/Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
3 or more years of experience in a technical, hands-on position.
Strong math, reading, and communication skills.
Experience with injection molding, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications (SAP experience preferred).
Ability to work independently and understand Lean Manufacturing concepts.
Mechanical inclination, ability to use basic hand tools, and strong hand-eye coordination.

Work Environment:
Clean manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels.
Required appropriate PPE and cleanroom apparel.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, push, pull items, stand, walk, climb ladders.
