Title:Industrial Maintenance Electrician
Location: Broadview, IL
Shift: 1st Shift  |  M-F   | 7:30AM- 4PM
Hire Type: Direct Hire
Pay: $35-$47/hr. (based on experience)

Sterling Engineering is looking for a Maintenance Technician for a leading manufacturer in protective and decorative coating industry in Broadview, IL. This is a great company to work with that has great benefits!

Job Duties:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to repair and improve equipment/processes
  • Maintain office, shop floor, equipment, restrooms, grounds, and building exterior
  • Equipment includes ovens, burners, pumps, motors, gearboxes, chains, pulleys, conveyors
  • Understand, create, and follow LOTO procedures
  • Create, complete, and close maintenance work orders
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, PLC, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Follow repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance procedures
  • Perform routine tasks like greasing, fluid changes, and machine adjustments
  • Possess MIG welding and basic fabrication skills
  • Knowledge of electrical power, conduit sizing, conductor pulling, disconnect boxes, and connections
Qualifications:
  • 8+ years in industrial maintenance technician role
  • Associate’s degree preferred
  • OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
