- Support the implementation of safety protocols and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues with extrusion molding machinery.
- Perform repairs and replacement of faulty components to keep machines operating efficiently.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
- Document work requests, work orders, and machinery failures for machines and equipment.
- Utilize electrical measuring instruments to solve electrical issues.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of process controls, industrial electrical wiring, and 3-phase systems up to 480 volts.
- Knowledge of AC and DC motors and controls.
- Familiarity with PLCs, motors, drives, and control systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and CMMS systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to effectively read, write, and communicate in English.
