Job Description

Seeking a highly motivated Maintenance Technician for 1st shift who will be responsible for maintaining all components of machinery in operation to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.

Shift: 1st (7am-3pm)
Job Type: Full-time/Direct-Hire
Salary: Up to $32-$34/hr

· Maintenance and repair of Industrial Manufacturing Equipment, with an emphasis on Injection molding preferred.
· Electrical, PLC and Maintenance Automation experience preferred
· Hydraulic and Pneumatic experience preferred.
· Ability to troubleshoot/identify problems on plant supporting equipment for a manufacturing environment, compressors, chillers, electrical system.
· Ability to troubleshoot/repair Secondary Operation equipment in a manufacturing environment. Conveyors, Labelers, Liners, Inspection and Packaging. This includes replacing defective components such as bearings, motors, servo motors, gears, electronic drives, clutches, brakes, belts, chains and electrical parts.
· Experience with accurately documenting trouble calls and working from Work Orders.
· Overtime (including weekends) may be required and/or scheduled based on production demands.
· Communicate and work effectively with other shifts and departments.
· Ability to work from owner manuals, specifications, blueprints, schematics, ladder diagrams and standard operating procedures.
· Ability to read and write English at an appropriate level in order to correctly perform essential duties.
· Salary commensurate with experience

Knowledge of CMMS preferred but not required.
Injection Molding experience preferred
Physical Demands and Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time and talk or hear. The employee is required to use his/her hands to handle or touch objects, tools, or controls. The employee is consistently required to stand and walk. The employee may be required to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and distance vision. Job specific PPE required per company policy.
