Job Description
Location:Peachtree CIty, GA
Salary:$26-$30/hr. based on experience
- Support day-to-day operations of machines, equipment, and facility areas.
- Perform preventive maintenance and assist in solving reliability issues.
- Provide technical support for production equipment upgrades and rebuilds.
- Fabricate, modify, assemble, and repair production components and systems using machining and metal fabrication tools.
- Ensure strict conformance to electrical codes, OSHA safety requirements, and internal safety guidelines.
- Apply mechanical and electrical skills in routine and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Assist the shift maintenance team in problem-solving and troubleshooting efforts.
- Act as a resource for PLC programming, variable speed drives, and electrical/pneumatic control systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair production machinery and systems.
- Contribute to preventive and predictive maintenance strategies for improved equipment reliability.
- Make electrical connections for a wide range of electrical devices.
- Read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical schematics.
- Contribute to capital planning, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Report any food/product safety concerns to supervisors or management immediately.
- Identify parts and functions of injection molding machines and molds.
- 5–7 years of experience with Vocational Training or Military equivalent may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Associate’s degree in Industrial or Electrical Maintenance Technology preferred.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and technical aptitude.
- Understanding of electric motors, conveyors, gears, pneumatics, hydraulics; HVAC experience a plus.
- Hands-on metal fabrication skills; welding experience preferred.
- Proficiency with maintenance tools, machining equipment, and precision measurement instruments.
- Ability to read drawings, equipment manuals, parts lists, and instructions.
- Capable of creating and interpreting basic blueprints.
