Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess both electrical and mechanical expertise to ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing machinery, minimizing downtime, and maximizing productivity.

  • Perform routine maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance tasks according to established schedules.
  • Repair or replace defective parts as needed to maintain equipment functionality.
  • Collaborate with production teams to address maintenance-related issues and prioritize repairs.
  • Install and commission new equipment as required, ensuring proper functionality and safety compliance.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the metals industry.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repair of motors, controls, and PLCs.
  • Proficiency in mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical power transmission.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to maintenance emergencies as needed.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
