Maintenance Technician – Automation
 Location: Buffalo Grove, IL
Shift: 12-Hour Rotating Days or Nights (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM) or (6:00 PM - 6AM)
Are you a hands-on problem solver who loves working with automation, robotics, and complex machinery? Join our team as a Maintenance Technician – Automation and play a key role in keeping our production running at peak performance.
What You’ll Do
  • Troubleshoot and repair automation, assembly, packaging, and robotic equipment
  • Perform preventive maintenance and root cause analysis to minimize downtime
  • Work with electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC-based systems
  • Assist with robot arm repairs, control adjustments, and program uploads
  • Partner with operations to maintain product quality and safety standards
  • Support continuous improvement by suggesting new ideas and solutions
What We’re Looking For
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of hands-on maintenance/technical experience
  • Experience with automation, robotics, and complex assembly equipment
  • Strong background in electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and PLC troubleshooting
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work on your feet during 12-hour shifts
  • Bonus: SAP experience, Lean Manufacturing knowledge, or mechanical aptitude with hand tools
