Maintenance Technician - 2nd SHIFT (Automation)
Job Description
- Ensure compliance with all established safety, health, quality GMP standards, and company policies and procedures.
- Support Process Technicians with mold change setups and startups, including water and electrical connections.
- Manage daily maintenance activities within the assigned work cell.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with ancillary equipment such as chillers, air compressors, blending systems, water towers, HVAC, vacuum pumps, and electrical systems.
- Diagnose and address basic molding equipment and process issues.
- Assist with IML automation setup, startup, and label changes.
- Aid in the assembly and disassembly of tooling as needed.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with the Process Manager to evaluate new mold and automation start-ups.
- Conduct daily inspections of molding, automation equipment, and ancillary systems, providing recommendations for improvements.
- Foster and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years Injection Molding maintenance experience in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Minimum of 3 years of injection molding process experience. Experience with in-mold-labeling a plus.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Occasionally lift to 50lbs. Working hands on with tooling and machinery. Computer usage (keyboard and mouse).
