Maintenance Technician (Night Shift)
Job Description
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machinery, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment like air compressors, chillers, and cooling towers.
- Install, modify, and relocate machinery; handle fabrication, welding, and plumbing tasks.
- Read and interpret manuals, schematics, and blueprints for repairs and installations.
- Use tools and testing equipment to diagnose and resolve issues.
- Document work on orders and maintain logs.
- Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and good manufacturing practices.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree or equivalent preferred.
- 5+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician, with skills in: PLC systems (Allen Bradley ControlLogix, SLC-500), Variable frequency drives and servo systems, hydraulics, pneumatic, water treatment systems, general machinery, pumps, valves, and piping repairs.
- Preferred skills in: fabrication, welding, and machining.
- Knowledge of power distribution (480 VAC) and process control instrumentation is a plus.
- Familiarity with ISO calibration and PM checklists is a plus.
