Job Description

Role: Maintenance Technician 
Location: Detroit MI area
Pay: $35.50/hr (Union shop)

*All Maintenance candidates will start off on 1st shift. Minimum 30 day evaluation/training period before moving to assigned shift.*
 
Position Overview: 
Repairs and maintains mechanical and hydraulic components of production machines and equipment by performing the following duties.
 
Required Skills:
  • Troubleshooting machines - performing repairs
  • Hydraulic and electrical experience
  • Have mechanics on site to perform regular maintenance
  • Must be open to rotating to different shifts - everyone helps cover each other's shifts when needed (team player mentality)
Technical Skills: 
  • Journeyman status or equivalent required.
  • Basic electrical knowledge of high and low voltage systems.
  • Responsible for reading and understanding the IATF16949, ISO9001:2015 and ISO-14001procedures
Education and/or Experience:  
  • Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
