This role is responsible for maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable operation of manufacturing equipment, machinery, and building facilities. The Maintenance Technician serves as a subject matter expert, performing advanced technical and mechanical work requiring specialized training, certifications, or licenses. This position supports production by minimizing downtime, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards.
Job Duties:
- Provide technical support for manufacturing maintenance and repair across areas including Robotics, CNC, Tooling, Wire EDM, Facilities, Mechanical, Electrical, Machine Operations, and Tool & Die.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance in accordance with safety requirements and complete required job safety checklists.
- Troubleshoot and repair machinery and equipment breakdowns to reduce production downtime.
- Perform facility repairs and maintenance including electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and painting.
- Report quality issues promptly and shut down equipment or operational areas when issues cannot be immediately resolved.
- Identify process and equipment inefficiencies and recommend improvements as appropriate.
- Perform additional duties consistent with training and experience.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training required based on assigned area.
- Ability to safely troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Experience level may align with Associate, Core, or Senior Technician based on skillset and autonomy.
- Senior-level technicians must be capable of working independently and providing guidance to lower-level technicians.
- Strong attention to safety, quality, and production standards.
