Title: Maintenance Technician 
Location: Swedesboro, NJ
Shifts & Hours: 2nd (2:00- 10:30 PM)   
Pay Rate: $34-$38/hr

Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician III ensures the continuous and efficient operation of facility systems like refrigeration, HVAC, boilers, and electrical systems. Key tasks include performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards, and participating in emergency response.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and troubleshoot a range of systems, including ammonia refrigeration, HVAC, boilers, electrical, and safety equipment.
  • Coordinate with internal and external resources for comprehensive facility maintenance.
  • Ensure continuous operation of utility systems to meet production needs.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining environmental programs and recordkeeping for compliance.
  • Lead emergency response efforts for hazardous chemical incidents.
Key Qualifications
  • Education & Licensing: High school diploma or GED; NJ licenses for hazardous refrigeration and high-pressure steam systems; valid driver’s license.
  • Skills: Knowledge of equipment setup, maintenance, and basic PLCs.
  • Experience: Demonstrated expertise with industrial utility systems and safety practices.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with FDA regulations, GMPs, and state/federal guidelines.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Strong ability to disassemble and reassemble equipment as needed.
