Job Summary:
  • The role involves fabricating and assembling stainless steel structural metal products for the food industry, following mechanical drawings and instructions to ensure high-quality production of machinery components.

Job Duties:
  • Execute assigned tasks from Maintenance Supervisors or Managers
  • Perform preventive maintenance to ensure equipment remains in optimal working condition
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and HVAC/R systems
  • Assist in major equipment overhauls and participate in building maintenance tasks
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements
  • Adherence to FDA regulations, GMPs, OSHA standards, HACCP, and sanitary procedures
  • Be flexible with working hours, including overtime as needed

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Technical certification in HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, and/or plumbing repair
  • Experience in maintenance roles, preferably within an automated food processing plant
  • Knowledge of equipment setup, operating procedures, and preventive maintenance techniques
  • Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) preferred
  • Additional skills in refrigeration, plumbing, industrial electrical and mechanical systems, and automated food manufacturing processes advantageous
  • Ability to interpret work orders, manuals, and blueprints
  • Proficiency in using Excel or other spreadsheet software, and preferably SAP
