Job Summary:
  • The Maintenance Controls Technician is responsible for leading the development, testing, and implementation of programming and electrical controls across facilities. This role involves managing projects related to electrical systems, troubleshooting programming issues, and providing training to technicians. Additionally, the Technician oversees the organization and maintenance of print libraries and backups for machinery.

Job Duties:
  • Lead electrical system project management initiatives.
  • Conduct troubleshooting of electrical and programming issues.
  • Provide training to technicians on electrical systems and programming.
  • Manage inventory and maintenance of print libraries and backups for machinery.

Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge and experience in electrical systems, including VFDs, Servos, and high/low voltage troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and modifying Electrical/PLC-GUI Programming/Controls.
  • Ability to use a laptop for PLC troubleshooting and directing Maintenance Technicians to machine issues.
  • Proficiency in resolving various equipment problems, including scale, x-ray, and checkweigher issues.
  • Experience in making PLC program modifications and tuning adjustments, with a basic understanding of PID loops.
  • AutoCAD electrical schematic one-line drawing development skills (preferred but not required).
  • NFPA 70E Arc Flash safety certification is advantageous.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to multitask effectively.
