About the Position:
This role involves both mechanical and basic electrical maintenance responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have experience with AC motors and drives, automated valves, flow meters, level controls, and boilers, as well as a solid understanding of pneumatics, power transmission, and pumps.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency and routine maintenance support for manufacturing and facility upkeep.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues independently with minimal assistance.
- Collaborate with vendors to identify and purchase necessary parts.
- Cross-train with other technicians to enhance the Maintenance department’s knowledge base.
- Help maintain an inventory of critical spare parts.
- Participate in projects to upgrade facility and manufacturing processes.
- Complete documentation such as work orders and log books.
- Support a 24/7 day operation.
Requirements:
- Trade School diploma, Military Training, or Associate's degree from a technical college.
- Experience with food processing equipment, including direct and indirect steam injection, heat exchangers, membrane filtration, and energy recovery systems.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance within the Pharmaceutical, Dairy, or Food industries.
- Strong leadership skills and initiative.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, PFDs, and electrical schematics.
