Job Summary:
We need a skilled PLC Controls Maintenance Technician to keep our plant and production systems running smoothly. Your main job is to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and control systems, ensuring everything works efficiently. You'll also train and coordinate Maintenance Technicians across shifts.
Job Duties:
- Maintain and repair food processing equipment.
- Follow company policies on food safety and equipment maintenance.
- Use safety gear and report any issues to your supervisor.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance tasks.
- Troubleshoot and fix automated production equipment.
- Communicate well and work efficiently under pressure.
- Repair and maintain machinery like conveyors and mixers.
- Install and connect control equipment.
- Monitor equipment condition and perform maintenance.
- Inspect machinery for problems and fix them.
- Train other Maintenance Technicians and coordinate their tasks.
- Travel occasionally for equipment repair.
Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
- Ability to read technical documents.
- Training in electrical engineering technology required.
- Knowledge of PLC programming and FactoryTalk View software.
- Experience in the food industry preferred.
- Familiarity with maintenance software is a plus.
