Job Description
- In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the reliability and functionality of equipment such as boilers, chillers, air handlers, compressors, plumbing, pneumatic hydraulics, and refrigeration systems. We're seeking individuals with strong mechanical and problem-solving skills, and experience in welding, cutting/burning torch operation, power industrial training, electrical work, and PLC diagnostics is highly valued. This role requires a commitment to safety, a high level of technical proficiency, and the ability to adapt to the dynamic needs of our production environment.
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on equipment including boilers, chillers, air handlers, compressors, plumbing, pneumatic hydraulics, and refrigeration systems.
- Utilize welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick) when necessary for equipment repairs or modifications.
- Operate cutting/burning torches for metal fabrication and cutting tasks.
- Assist in maintaining and improving equipment reliability through preventive maintenance programs.
- Participate in equipment installation, commissioning, and decommissioning projects.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to diagnose and address complex mechanical and electrical issues.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential equipment failures and safety hazards.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards during all maintenance activities.
- Use power industrial training and electrical skills for equipment servicing and troubleshooting.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose PLC systems to resolve equipment malfunctions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, parts used, and equipment condition.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or its equivalency in experience and/or training.
- Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Welding experience (MIG, TIG, Stick) is useful.
- Experience with cutting/burning torches is desired.
- Power Industrial Training Certification is a plus.
- Electrical and PLC diagnostics experience is helpful.
- Prior industrial bakery and/or food processing plant experience is a plus.
- Entry-level candidates with relevant certifications or education will also be considered.
