Maintenance Supervisor
Job Description
- We are searching for a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee all aspects of maintenance for our facility. You will report directly to the Site Director and will be responsible for leading a team of technicians to ensure the efficient operation of our equipment and systems.
- Be the go-to person for all maintenance needs, supervising and motivating a team to complete work orders and production goals on time
- Manage the flow of incoming requests, prioritizing and scheduling them effectively
- Ensure all maintenance paperwork and systems are up-to-date (think work orders, equipment manuals, preventative maintenance schedules)
- Oversee labor and get the most out of your team's time
- Create and maintain an accurate backlog of maintenance jobs
- Address any unexpected maintenance requests that come your way
- Manage the internal work order process and approve parts requests from technicians
- Implement and maintain a preventative maintenance program to keep things running smoothly
- Organize and maintain the maintenance workspace for optimal efficiency
- Address personnel issues, fostering a positive and productive team environment
- Manage employee attendance and time-off requests
- Maintain accurate equipment documentation and ensure adherence to safety regulation
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field (engineering, maintenance) or 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with lean manufacturing methodologies a plus!
- At least 2 years of leadership experience supervising a team
- Strong technical writing, documentation, and record-keeping skills
- A knack for problem-solving and analyzing situations (preferred)
- Familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems is a plus
- The ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization
Strong leadership skills that motivate and empower your team - A commitment to staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
- Working knowledge of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and work order systems (a plus)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Google Suite
