Job Summary:
  • We are searching for a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee all aspects of maintenance for our facility. You will report directly to the Site Director and will be responsible for leading a team of technicians to ensure the efficient operation of our equipment and systems.

Job Duties:
  • Be the go-to person for all maintenance needs, supervising and motivating a team to complete work orders and production goals on time
  • Manage the flow of incoming requests, prioritizing and scheduling them effectively
  • Ensure all maintenance paperwork and systems are up-to-date (think work orders, equipment manuals, preventative maintenance schedules)
  • Oversee labor and get the most out of your team's time
  • Create and maintain an accurate backlog of maintenance jobs
  • Address any unexpected maintenance requests that come your way
  • Manage the internal work order process and approve parts requests from technicians
  • Implement and maintain a preventative maintenance program to keep things running smoothly
  • Organize and maintain the maintenance workspace for optimal efficiency
  • Address personnel issues, fostering a positive and productive team environment
  • Manage employee attendance and time-off requests
  • Maintain accurate equipment documentation and ensure adherence to safety regulation

Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field (engineering, maintenance) or 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with lean manufacturing methodologies a plus!
  • At least 2 years of leadership experience supervising a team
  • Strong technical writing, documentation, and record-keeping skills
  • A knack for problem-solving and analyzing situations (preferred)
  • Familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems is a plus
  • The ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization
    Strong leadership skills that motivate and empower your team
  • A commitment to staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
  • Working knowledge of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and work order systems (a plus)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Google Suite
