Job Summary:
Job Duties:
- Develops detailed resource plans for maintenance work:
- Determines labor and skills required to complete work.
- Provides job scope and labor hours estimation.
- Develops job plan and associated tasks necessary for completion of work.
- Works with all teams to ensure identification, acquisition, and kitting of parts; collection of tools, documentation, and procedures to complete work requested.
- Holds periodic meetings to ensure all stakeholders are aware of work order progress.
- Develops detailed schedules of upcoming work associated with future maintenance in conjunction with the operations schedule to minimize equipment downtime.
- Assist, where required, craftsman/support teams in determining if scope changes can be completed without disrupting the schedule.
- Maintains CMMS system task library.
- Develops job plan tasks for major equipment repairs and overhauls.
- Provides oversight and updates to the job plan task library.
- Ensures estimated hours within the system are maintained up to date to ensure accurate job planning and scheduling.
- Recommends work schedules that balance and level Maintenance workloads and resources in order to optimize labor utilization.
- Reviews and analyzes plant-wide PM load.
- Maintains oversight of the overall maintenance backlog to ensure accurate scheduling.
- Recommends opportunities for resource leveling to ensure work completion in the shortest amount of time.
- Maintains the Maintenance Scheduling System.
Qualifications:
- 3-7 years of related experience and/or training (degree dependent). Advanced computer skills in MS Project, CMMS, Excel, and COGNOS.
