Job Summary:
- The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the Maintenance team, ensuring the completion of tasks in a safe, accurate, and efficient manner while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). This role requires both technical expertise and strong leadership to guide and develop the team, maintain equipment reliability, and ensure smooth plant operations.
Job Duties:
- Technical Expertise: Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain systems including electrical (3-phase), PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley), hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC, boilers, compressors, and building utilities.
- Leadership: Direct, lead, and develop the maintenance team while collaborating with other department supervisors to achieve operational goals.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and confined space safety, and maintain compliance with GMPs.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve issues efficiently while providing innovative and creative solutions.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records, prepare reports on equipment conditions, and manage inventory related to equipment, supplies, and materials.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required); Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).
- Four years of experience in mechanical or electrical trades (preferred).
- Completion of a recognized vocational training program may substitute for two years of experience.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance disciplines including electrical, mechanical, welding, plumbing, HVAC, and more.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex systems and equipment.
