Position Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and lead maintenance efforts. This position involves supervising and guiding maintenance employees (technicians and/or mechanics) in ensuring the safety, quality, and productivity of equipment and processes. The Maintenance Supervisor will be instrumental in maintaining a safe working environment, improving maintenance operations, and resolving any technical issues that may arise. This role will also require overtime based on departmental needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Safety: Ensure that the Freezerbar Department adheres to all safety protocols, creating an environment that minimizes risks and hazards.
- Quality: Oversee the maintenance of equipment, ensuring it complies with quality specifications and operates efficiently to maintain product standards.
- Productivity: Drive optimal equipment performance by:
- Coordinating and developing Preventive Maintenance (PM) efforts.
- Troubleshooting and resolving unscheduled downtime promptly.
- Implementing process improvements for better efficiency and productivity.
- Lead efforts in technician and mechanic skill evaluation and development.
- Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with Preventive Maintenance Programs.
- Schedule and plan maintenance efforts in alignment with production schedules.
- Provide technical support for troubleshooting and resolving interruptions in production.
- Identify and order necessary repair parts.
- Develop and manage departmental budgets.
- Handle employee relations issues and foster positive team dynamics.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.
- Proven leadership abilities and previous experience as a Maintenance Lead or Supervisor.
- Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety regulations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is required.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, internet).
- Abilities:
- Demonstrated ability to lead by example in a professional and ethical manner.
- Ability to pass a skills assessment, physical, and functional job screen.

- Lifting up to 80 pounds and climbing ladders up to 30 feet.
- Performing repairs and adjustments in various physical positions, including overhead and kneeling.
- Pushing/pulling carts/equipment with up to 60 pounds of force.
- The ability to work for 8+ hours on your feet, including moving around the facility.

This role operates within a manufacturing environment, with responsibilities that also extend to the office setting as needed.

Food Safety & Quality Responsibilities:
- Follow all applicable food safety procedures and work instructions.
- Participate in verification and monitoring audits of Critical Control Points (CCPs).
- Serve as a backup for production supervisors as needed.
