Maintenance Mechanic
Job Description
- Installation and Assembly: Erect, install, and assemble machinery and equipment according to specifications, utilizing hand tools, power tools, hoists, cranes, and precision measuring instruments.
- Maintenance and Repair: Conduct routine maintenance on machinery to ensure proper functionality. Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning machinery and equipment, identifying and replacing defective parts as necessary.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to understand machinery layouts and assembly procedures.
- Precision Calibration: Align and calibrate machinery and equipment parts to achieve maximum operational efficiency.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times, ensuring a safe working environment for oneself and colleagues.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of machinery installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Proven experience as a Millwright or similar role within an industrial setting.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to machinery and equipment.
