Maintenance Mechanic
Job Description
Location: Cicero, IL
Hire Type: Long Term Contract with Immediate Benefits
Salary: $35-$40/hr.

- Maintain, repair, and replace manufacturing, packaging, and loading equipment to ensure peak efficiency.
- Perform building and infrastructure repairs, including general upkeep of grounds.
- Utilize a variety of tools and crafts, including welding and electrical work, to complete maintenance tasks.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime and support continuous production.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and reduce maintenance costs.
- Proven experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Hands-on knowledge of packaging equipment (fillers, drop packers, depalletizers, case erectors) and loading equipment (pumps, valves, meters).
- Skilled in welding and electrical work.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
