Title: Maintenance Mechanic 

Location: Channahon, IL

Hire Type: Direct Hire

Job Duties:
  • Perform established preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Maintains working knowledge of plant equipment and processes.
  • Maintain parts and tool inventories in an orderly efficient fashion.
  • Will use various hand and power tools; take measurements and make adjustments.
  • Make evaluations on used parts.
  • Perform necessary modifications, repairs, replacements and upgrades as directed.
  • Perform inspections and tests, as needed; evaluation involved.
  • Document proper maintenance records as required.

Qualifications:
  • Basic welding skills.
  • Ability to use “torch” for cutting and/or welding.
  • Basic metal working skills.
  • Ability to read and understand manufacturers manuals.
  • Basic P.C. Skills.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and troubleshoot/repair accordingly.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints.
