Hire Type: Direct Hire

1st shift, 5am-5:30pm, Sunday-Tuesday is shift A, Thursday-Saturday is shift B – both with alternate Wednesdays
2st shift, 5pm-5:30am, Monday-Thursday


Job Summary: Maintains equipment according to the Preventive Maintenance program, diagnoses and repairs mechanical problems and performs emergency and proactive repairs of buildings and grounds, production equipment, and machinery while minimizing down time. 

Job Duties:

  • Core competencies are: 
    o Electrical
    o Hydraulics
    o Pneumatics
    o Welding/Cutting
    o Service/Repair of equipment
    1. Knowledge of LOTO and SDS is required
    2. Maintain equipment according to Preventative Maintenance program
    3. Repair emergency/reactive repairs of production equipment and machinery minimizing downtime
    4. Diagnose and repair mechanical problems, replace or repair parts to mechanical, electric, hydraulic, and pneumatic components
    5. Performs inspection of completed maintenance and documents results
    6. Completes and maintains paperwork for maintenance performed
    7. Operate Forklifts, overhead cranes, and other equipment as necessary

Advanced duties and responsibilities:
  1. Complete high voltage and 3 phase electrical repairs and startups
  2. Repair & maintain hydraulic, lube, air, and gas systems
  3. Coordinate maintenance repairs with outside vendors as needed
  4. Repair equipment and tools, including overhead cranes, tools, welding machines and other plant equipment
  5. Install and repair facility equipment


  • High School diploma and Industrial Maintenance Mechanic certification/license
  • OSHA 10 hours certified
  • Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment
  • PLC experience
  • Welding or Machining experience is a plus
  • Read precision instruments and gauges
  • Work from technical drawings and blueprints
