Job Summary:
  • We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team as a Maintenance Technician. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our manufacturing processes and packaging equipment, as well as our distribution systems. Your responsibilities will include expert installation, troubleshooting, and repair work across a range of mechanical, electrical, and control disciplines. With your extensive knowledge and ability to work independently, you will contribute to the efficient and dependable operation of our plant facilities.

Job Duties:
  • Ensure strict adherence to food safety and quality standards outlined in plant and department procedures.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical, panel controls, and mechanical issues in manufacturing equipment to ensure reliable and efficient operations.
  • Conduct regular inspections of operational equipment and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure ongoing equipment reliability and safety.
  • Troubleshoot control circuitry, including PLC hardware, and possess knowledge of ASI or Devicenet systems (experience in these areas is a plus).
  • Proficiently handle high voltage equipment, including troubleshooting and interpreting electrical prints.
  • Expertly disassemble, repair, and reassemble complex equipment as necessary to maintain optimal operational efficiency.
  • Accurately and promptly complete routine paperwork, such as filling out work orders for preventive maintenance, documenting inspection results, logging emergency work orders, recording inventory usage, and maintaining log sheets with necessary readings.

Qualifications:
  • Completion of an associate's degree in industrial arts or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Preferred experience with Allen Bradley PLC's.
  • Flexibility to efficiently handle various tasks as required.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and proficiency.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective team player with excellent collaboration skills.
  • Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
  • Availability to work 12-hour shifts and weekends when necessary.
