Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic with expertise in CNC machinery for our facility in Itasca, IL. This is a contract-to-hire role with a pay range of $25-$30 per hour, contingent upon the candidate's experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on shop machinery, including Mazak CNC equipment, Grinding machinery, and other stand-alone machines used for fabrication.
Conduct electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues promptly.
Ability to wire and replace motors on machines, ensuring proper electrical functioning.
Provide support in diagnosing and fixing electrical problems on various equipment.
Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines during maintenance procedures.
