Maintenance Manager
Job Description
- Lead safety initiatives by ensuring all maintenance work is performed safely and according to established procedures.
- Conduct field audits, identify potential hazards, and perform pre-job safety reviews.
- Coordinate all maintenance activities within your area of responsibility while collaborating with Maintenance, Operations, Reliability, and other refinery groups to optimize equipment usage and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and manage the proper disposal of waste materials.
- Drive profit improvement initiatives, implement best practices, and enhance workforce productivity.
- Support turnaround efforts and assist in other refinery areas when needed.
- Ensure budget compliance by controlling overtime and equipment rentals during routine and non-routine maintenance, turnarounds, and shutdowns.
- Monitor and control mechanical integrity by completing preventative work orders and ensuring mechanical reliability programs are followed.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field, plus 1 year of refinery maintenance experience, OR Associate degree in a related technical field, plus 2 years of refinery maintenance experience
- Proficient in the use and understanding of a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
- Working knowledge of SAP and Maintenance Planning software
- Ability to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
