Job Title: Plant Maintenance & Facilities Manager (food manufacturer) 
Location: Lebanon, IN
Employment Type: Full-time
Target Pay Rate: $110K-$120K

We are seeking an experienced Plant Maintenance & Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance of all equipment and systems required for plant operations and support functions. The role involves ensuring the safety, quality, and legality of products produced by maintaining robust maintenance and facility processes.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, implement, and maintain a comprehensive maintenance program for all utilities and facilities, including production equipment, gas systems, chillers, air compressors, hydraulics, lighting, emergency generators, electricity, HVAC, refrigeration, water distribution, wastewater treatment, fire protection, thermal fluid heaters, and cooling towers.
  • Prepare and manage the department’s annual budget.
  • Manage contract maintenance staff and in-house maintenance teams.
  • Collaborate with third-party cold storage partners to optimize system maintenance and controls.
  • Lead initiatives to ensure energy, water, and other utilities are efficiently used, while also identifying and implementing energy conservation opportunities.
  • Work closely with utility providers to stay informed on rate changes, outages, and load-shedding agreements.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Plant Management and Facilities roles.
  • Willingness to work irregular hours/days as required.
  • Extensive knowledge of PLCs and controls troubleshooting.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Motivated self-starter with a focus on continuous improvement.
