Job Description
- Oversight of the building automation system.
- Coordinating maintenance/programming with controls technicians.
- Documenting and tracking changes to the building automation system.
- Monitoring setpoints and trends to ensure efficient and reliable HVAC and process system throughout all facilities.
- Tracking scheduled PMs, diagnosing and resolving reliability issues, and coordinating outside contractor services.
- Reviewing and providing feedback on electrical control schematics/drawings.
- Learning and applying programming to the building automation system.
Qualifications:
- H.S. diploma or GED; B.S. in an Engineering discipline preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Technical competence in navigating and troubleshooting building automation software
- Extensive experience with HVAC equipment (electro/pneumatic controls, steam systems, DX units, pumps, cooling towers, fan coil units, VAVs, air distribution, chillers, condensers, etc.…)
- Experience related to building design & construction projects, plant rearrangement/remodel projects, electrical systems.
