Maintenance Electrician - (M-F DAY SHIFT)
Job Description
Location: Sauk Village, IL
Hire Type: Contract to Hire
- 8 hr. M-F DAYS
- 12 hr. Nights (2-2-3)
- 12 hr. Days (2-2-3)
Job Duties:
- Troubleshooting, repair, and programming of Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs)
- Troubleshooting and repair of AC/DC motors and drives
- Reading, understanding, and creating ladder relay logic schematics
- Troubleshooting, repair, and interfacing analog and digital circuitry
- Troubleshooting and repair of various electrical controllers (timers, temperature, pressure controllers)
- Using hand tools for mechanical work
- Assistance with mechanical repairs, changeovers, rebuilding, and part replacement
- Light brazing, welding, and soldering
- Panel layout design, wiring, and control implementation adhering to industry standards
- Expertise in three-phase electricity (110, 220, 440 volts), AC/DC current, including troubleshooting, installation, repair, and high voltage wiring.
- Proficiency in PC operation, MS DOS commands, and troubleshooting digital/microcomputer/microprocessor controls
- Understanding of microcomputer operation, application programs, and programming for software modifications
- Assistance with mechanical repairs, changeovers, rebuilding, and part replacement
- Expertise in three-phase electricity (110, 220, 440 volts), AC/DC current, including troubleshooting, installation, repair, and high voltage wiring.
- Proficient in analyzing, repairing, and replacing solid state controls and power boards.
- Capable of installing various electrical equipment (wires, motors, controls, lighting).
- Skilled in using electrical metering devices (voltmeters, amp meters, oscilloscopes) for troubleshooting.
- Ability to read, write, and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Strong electrical/electronic analysis and troubleshooting skills.
- Adherence to electrical codes.
