Job Summary:
  • As a Maintenance Electrician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of various equipment within our facility. From conducting machine setups and preventive maintenance to diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components, your expertise will be instrumental in minimizing downtime and maintaining optimal efficiency. With a focus on adherence to safety regulations, documentation, and effective communication, you will contribute to the overall success of our operations.

Job Duties:
  • Conduct machine setups, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Diagnose, repair, and overhaul mechanical components for a wide range of equipment, including production and packaging machinery, electrically operated equipment, and HVAC systems.
  • Perform emergency repairs during production and scheduled maintenance on production and facility equipment.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals, electrical schematics, and blueprints.
  • Complete daily documentation related to job tasks, downtime, spare parts usage, and maintenance activities.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and install low and high voltage industrial electromechanical and control systems.
  • Assist with project and system startups, including configuration, wiring, and calibration.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, GMPs, and company rules and regulations.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Technical training with exposure to high-speed equipment.
  • 3-5 years of related experience in packing machines/production machines, preferably in a food manufacturing plant.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and other shifts as needed.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects, kneel, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
