- Rigorously following pre-job briefs, checklists, routers, and established machining procedures to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Demonstrating proficiency in operating a wide range of manual and CNC machines, such as horizontal boring mills, vertical lathes, engine lathes, mills, grinders, and drill presses.
- Executing machining processes efficiently and within strict time windows, consistently achieving tolerances within .0005".
- Performing meticulous part inspections using precision instruments like micrometers and gages.
- Translating technical prints and drawings into precise machining actions.
- Contributing to facility improvements by fabricating specialized tooling and hardware.
- Engaging in necessary coordination with sales, operations, engineers, and our valued customers.
- Exemplifying behaviors that foster strong teambuilding, sound decision-making, effective problem-solving, and a culture of continuous improvement.
- Working with a diverse range of metals, including various stainless steels (300 and 400 series), Inconel (625 and 718), and carbon steel.
- Strictly complying with all company policies and procedures, particularly concerning attendance, safety protocols, and productivity standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in CNC setup, operation, and programming, with a strong preference for CNC HBM expertise.
- Must be comfortable and proficient with both CNC and manual machinery operation.
- Ownership of essential personal tools, including micrometers, hand grinders, and a roll-around toolbox.
- Physical ability to stand for prolonged periods.
- A proven track record of meticulous attention to detail and adherence to processes.
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational abilities, coupled with the capacity to work autonomously, solve complex problems, and effectively prioritize tasks.
- Flexibility to work overtime, including weekends and holidays, as business demands.
