Sterling Engineering is looking for a Part-Time Tool & Die Maker with strong hands-on experience in precision milling and grinding. This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented and experienced machinist who thrives in a collaborative, quality-driven environment.
Job Duties:
  • Set up and operate milling and grinding machines.
  • Interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to determine machining processes.
  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools.
  • Troubleshoot and repair tooling issues as needed.
  • Collaborate with engineers to improve designs and manufacturing processes.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Tool & Die Maker, with a focus on milling and grinding.
  • Skilled in using both conventional milling and grinding equipment.
  • Strong understanding of machining principles and material properties.
  • Ability to accurately read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • High attention to detail and solid problem-solving abilities.
