We are seeking a highly skilled Machinist.  As a machinist, you'll be responsible for setting up and operating a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts. If you're detail-oriented, experienced in machining techniques, and thrive in a collaborative environment, we'd love to hear from you.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate CNC machines to produce custom parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Work with engineers and other technicians in the development of prototype models
  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to determine machining requirements.
  • Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machining parameters to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to ensure optimal performance.
  • Inspect own work for correct dimensions and ensure that company quality and quantity standards are maintained and complete required documentation.
 
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in machining or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in precision machining, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in operating CNC machines and familiarity with G-code programming.
  • Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent math skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with precision measuring instruments and quality inspection techniques.
  • Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
