Machinist
Job Description
- Sterling Engineering's client in Addison, IL is seeking an experienced Manual Machinist on first shift on a direct hire basis! The hours are 6am - 2:15pm
- Surface grinding exp
- Plastic Injection mold exp
- Mold repair/maintenance/troubleshooting exp
- Manual machinist ( plastic injection mold)
- Exp working with mills (Bridgeport), horizontal lathes, surface grinders, automatic surface grinders.
- CNC equipment (Fanuc controls)
- 16x32 locomotor parts,16x12 and 16x18manual
- Surface grinding (3-4 different machines)
- Mold repair (can disassemble & help repair parts/molds) Have not had to make new molds in a while.
- Assist with mold teardown, cleaning, and maintenance
Qualifications:
- A plus if they have ID&OD grinding exp (inside & outside diameter grinding)
- Manual machining exp, plastic injection mold background preferred
