Title: Machinist (Mazak - Mills)

Pay Rate: $28hr - $33hr (40 - 50hrs per week, overtime $$) 

Hours/Shift: 1st Shift Mon-Fri - can start at 6am or 7am 

Location: Roselle, IL 60172

Hire Type: Hourly, full-time (40 - 50hrs per week)

Job Duties:
  • Operate Mazak milling machines in a high-production environment, ensuring precision and efficiency in part production.
  • Edit and optimize CNC programs once loaded into the machine to maintain accuracy and maximize productivity.
  • Perform comprehensive machine setup including tool changes, zeroing, and calibration, ensuring smooth transitions between parts.
  • Execute quick and efficient part changeovers, troubleshooting and resolving issues to minimize downtime.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical documentation to produce parts within specified tolerances.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and adjustments on equipment to ensure optimal machine performance.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify process improvements and implement best practices.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and quality control standards to ensure a safe and productive work environment.

Qualifications:
  • Experience with Mazak milling  machines 
  • Experienced in editing CNC programs
