Title: Manual Machinist
Location: Itasca, IL
Hire Type: Contract to Hire (6 months)
Shift : 1st shift M-F

Must have Skill Set: Manual Mill experience needed
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Manual Machinist with strong Bridgeport mill experience to join our team. This is a hands-on role focused strictly on manual machining — no CNC work. If you take pride in precision, craftsmanship, and working directly from prints, this is a great opportunity.
Job Duties:
- Operate Bridgeport manual mills to machine precision parts
- Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings
- Set up, machine, and inspect parts to print specifications
- Perform measurements using standard inspection tools
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating Bridgeport mills (required)
- Strong ability to read and interpret prints
- Experience machining parts manually (no CNC)
- Ability to hold tight tolerances
- Dependable and able to work overtime
